Clear, honest advice at zero cost. We help you navigate your options with compassion and integrity.

Medicare Advantage (Part C)

An all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare. These plans combine Part A (Hospital) and Part B (Medical)—and usually Part D (Prescriptions)—into a single plan. They often include extra benefits like dental, vision, hearing, and fitness programs, typically with low monthly premiums.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Supplemental coverage designed to pay for the out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare leaves behind, such as copays and deductibles. It offers complete freedom to see any doctor nationwide that accepts Medicare, with no network restrictions.

Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage)

Standalone plans that help cover the cost of your medications. Whether you take daily prescriptions or just want protection against high drug costs in the future, we’ll analyze your specific medication list to find the plan with the lowest total cost and best coverage.

Do I need to be enrolled in Medicare Part A and B (Original Medicare) before I enroll in a Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plan?

Yes. In order to enroll in a Medicare Advantage or Supplement plan, you must first have both Medicare Parts A & B. You can enroll in Medicare for the first time online at the Social Security Administration HERE.

When am I eligible?

Most people become eligible for Medicare when they turn 65. You can enroll during your Initial Enrollment Period, which opens 3 months before the month you turn 65, includes your birth month, and ends 3 months after. You may also qualify earlier if you have certain disabilities, or you may be able to delay enrollment past 65 without penalty if you have qualifying coverage through active employment.

Do I need to sign up for Medicare if I’m still working past 65?

Not necessarily. If you or your spouse have creditable health coverage through an active employer (typically with 20 or more employees), you may be able to delay Medicare Part B without penalty. However, every situation is unique—we can compare your current employer coverage against Medicare to see which option saves you more money.

How much does Medicare actually cost?

While Medicare Part A (Hospital) is premium-free for most people, Part B (Medical) has a standard monthly premium set by the government. Your overall out-of-pocket costs will depend on whether you choose a Medicare Advantage plan or a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy. We’ll map out exact costs so there are no surprises.
